There's no time to lose, no dreams to borrow; the future starts tomorrow. "You Know the Answer" is a song written from an uncertain and desperating reality by someone who is seeking for answers. The cadence of its ternary time serves as the perfect parade for verses full of nostalgia and even desolation. They lead into the choruses, which evoking the sounds of "Forever Changes", spur the listener and remind him that he knows the answer. Everything within a three and a half minutes journey that culminates with the serenity of a coda in which the backing vocals and the acoustic guitars cradle a round and overdriven electric guitar that recalls the most melodic Frank Zappa.
