What Am I Doing Now?
03:53
|
|||
What am I doing now?
It’s been so long since the first time I saw you
What would you expect?
You know I’ve always been subdued
What are we both doing here?
Guess it’s been hard to put a name to our problem
It’s always been there, making me older
What am I doing now?
I never did touch you
But stood there and loved you sometime
It wasn’t devotion
But kind of a torture
That lingers and troubles my mind

Interlude
01:49
|

Interlude
Eyes wide open, I’m facing you
Our weightlessness fills the room
Guess I’m once again just trying to unravel you
I wake up as life renews
Though sometimes it was left unused
And I’m here again staring at its changing hue

Sunday
03:19
|
|||
Sunday
Sunday,
My whole world is here right now
We’ve rejected the plans outside
Simplicity runs our lives
As we’re gazing into the space we’ve built
Sunset,
The vacuum is filled with jokes and warmth
We’re protected against their laws
Complicity’s safe realm
Water boils while the toaster warns with its smell
Pictures of our past
Evening is slowly fading
Blackbirds,
Whose singing filters through the walls
We’ve not projected our life at all
Difficulties always show
We’re upstream but we’ll carry on with our way
And after all we’ve been running lately
Now we got a home
‘Cause after all
Life is living and we’re finally doing so

You Know The Answer
03:02
|
|||
You know the answer
Got no time to lose
No dreams to borrow
Think my ticket’s due
And future starts tomorrow
I can hardly guess
What is forthcoming
What the future brings
I’ve never noticed…
You know the answer
You know what to do
You know the answer
Please tell me the truth
Colours of my youth
Dilute through sorrow
Guess I’m being misused
And days are getting narrow
You know the answer
You know what to do
You know the answer
Please tell me the truth

What We Might Forget
03:38
|
|||
What we might forget
We have grown, we’ve seen the magic melt
Time sized up all the goals we’d set
The scenery falls and as we wander we’ve recalled
What we might forget
I’ve been rocked by a lurking wave
Broke a pledge by coincidence
I think I’ve finally found an open crack to scape
Guess I won’t regret
There were some times we glided through innocence
And life was only another game we played
But as we’re tangled up in our fears
It’s getting harder to pretend
Once your light has brought me back in place
Guess it’s time for us to change our bet
It seems like all we’ve gained ain’t just enough to know
What we might forget

Endless Conversation
03:10
|
|||
Endless conversation
Words, once spoken fly and then you slowly melt
While sunlight dims and gently filters through the rain
And you don’t remember how
You don’t remember how it began
It’s hard to count the tales that we’ve both shared
How much I love you girl… I can’t explain
And you don’t remember how it began
You keep me awake here
While the endless conversation shows
What we might be
I’ll be here waiting
For your never ending fleeting thoughts
And your wishful vows
For tomorrow often changes from our routines
Though vows materialized ‘cause I’ve held you near
And you don’t remember how
You don’t remember how it was
And you don’t remember how
You don’t remember how it was

Dreams And Certainties
04:12
|
|||
Dreams and certainties
Life has gotten serious
In fact, I was aware
And it’s becoming harder
The path keeps stretching ahead
I grew up believing
A chance would come my way
Instead, my dreams were stolen
My certainties were gone as well
I give you my eyes, keep them with you
Please take them before everything crumbles down
Now I think I’m going back
Over my footsteps
Back to the skies of blue
And over the mountains
While those images of old times
Keep hanging on the wall
I guess the light they hide is true
And now I’m here again
Hardly smiling
Waiting on my dreams to catch me
I’m here again
I don’t know where I’m heading for
And I give you my eyes, keep them with you
Please take them before everything crumbles down

Morning Sun
06:02
|
|||
Morning sun
Why do you talk to me and cry right after?
As if you’d never heard about it
Where would you love to be to start there after?
Why would you like to be without me?
One day you turned back and smiled to me
I didn’t have no choice
I realized that you were no danger
Now I’ve got a feeling darling
I know the morning sun will find me
Someday walking around town
Life wasn’t meant to be
the way it’s been drafted
‘Cause I thought I had the wind beside me
I think we might re-start again
and close this chapter
Back to the easy days of laughter
That day you stood in front of me
And I could hear your voice
What a joy, you never sounded strange
Now I’ve got a feeling darling
I know the morning sun will find me
Someday walking around town
Now I’ve got a feeling darling
I know the morning sun will find me
Someday walking around town
I’ve got a feeling darling
I know the morning sun will find me
Someday walking around town

The Big Flaw
07:07
|
|||
The big flaw
I wonder why
I ended up enslaved in here
It took me a while
But I rose up against
Steam-powered lies
was all they taught me
‘til I forgot what I’d rather be
I kept on crawling through the days
Struggling back to the beginning
Stuck inside a carrousel
I started losing grip while spinning
Now I’m leaning on a shinning beam
On a fleeting whim of freedom passing
Through the cloudy steam
Losing my ideals
Wayward soul
Your bonus is made from tears
It’s well deserved
Squander it all
We got a deal
We share the burden
Just look around at all the smiles in here
I’ve been losing days while losing friends
I’ve lived among the smokestack sellers
I thought I’d make it through the maze
In my disguise of ties and feathers
I’m looking for a place to live
And for the path that brings me
back to my world
And forget the days at the big flaw
Where have I been?
What have they done to me?
Got to get me back
To where I’d rather be
I gotta live another life that shows me
How to misbehave
‘Cause time belongs to me
I gotta be, I gotta be stronger now
I gotta be, I gotta be bolder now
I gotta be, I gotta be stronger now
I gotta live another life that shows me
how to misbehave
how to misbehave, yeah yeah...
I gotta live, I gotta be, show me now
(You gotta live another life
You gotta misbehave, yeah
You gotta be, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be bolder
You gotta live aother life
you gotta misbehave, yeah...)

Berodia

Berodia
I’ve made a pause today
To watch the swallows play
Beneath the northern open rain
I’ve found the right place
To see my time escape
Like in a light summer sleep
The future is close
Work’s undone,
but I’d rather live
It seems like I’ve wasted a day
I guess I don’t mind
I’ve written a few lines
While thoughts gently untied
I heard the moon is coloured pink
And I’ve seen happiness
Where nothing seems changed
Among the waves’ serene beat
The sun is gone
Day has shown what I can be
Seems like I’m wafting away
And I don’t know why
I guess I don’t mind
Oh I don’t know why

Running Far Behind
02:38
|
|||
Running far behind
There down the road, alone
existence seems mazy
You’ve been told
that I fell again this time
And it’s getting late for the show
I’ve been down,
I’ve been running far behind
Losing every chance I had to speak
‘Cause I fell, I fell right there
and touched the ground
Never found a better place for me
Where am I bound?
I’ve wandered all this time
And still I got a little more to find
I’ve been frequently told
I was idle and lazy
I don’t know
It’s been a clinking life
This time I hope I’m finally right,
on my own
I’m in doubt, am I bound to drift awhile?
Weeping every time I hurt you deep
It’s getting hard, but I’ve finally realized
I’ve never had the time to look for me
(Still I got a little more to find)

Me And My Birds
03:53
|
|||
Me and my birds
Me and my birds can’t jump through this hoop
Since it is narrow, opaque and hangs from a hook
that weakens fast
I’d rather be here under it
If I’d got to know everything that I’ve used
I’d be probably wiser but still diffuse
I’m no longer young
And seems like nothing holds on
Life should be simpler
I’ve learnt it through this time
Life should be longer
To gaze inside your eyes
It hasn’t been easy to look for the sound
For the world keeps in motion
and I’ve wandered around
the same streets and numbers
‘till I finally found her
And now that she knows I’ve been clowning about
She might just consider to carry on without
this strange and blown boy
that keeps withering slowly
Life should be easier
I’ve come to realize
When I look, I look around here
And love keeps growing wide
‘Cause I know, I know you’ll take me somewhere
It’s time to enjoy the ride
Me and my birds can’t see through the haze
It keeps blurring the path that escapes the maze
And I’ve lost some good times
Though they never were mine
If I ever get heard or the future gets neat
I’d revoke the laws that made me meek
And I’d build my own walls
To delimit my hopes
